Ours tips for parents
- How to equip your child?
- Make sure your child is well protected against the cold and the sun: ski outfit, warm socks, gloves, glasses or mask, sunscreen.
Ski equipment is not included in the lesson price and must be collected at the end of each lesson.
A helmet is strongly recommended to ensure safety on the slopes.
In the pocket, you can slip a small snack as well as your phone number.
How do the test level work?
On Friday, your child will be evaluated and will receive a medal corresponding to their technical level. Medals symbolize acquired skills, not a reward. Leveling up can encourage your child, but should not become a pressure or an obligation!
Avoid overestimating your child's level; the instructor may have to adjust the group, which could destabilize them.
Don't forget: skiing must above all be a source of pleasure! Your child is on vacation and the goal is for him to have fun and want to come back. So, respect his pace and don't try to make him a champion before his time!
And on your side?
You can observe your child's progress while remaining discreet. Children do not behave the same way in the presence of their parents.
After the lesson, if you ski together (which is strongly recommended), choose slopes adapted to your child's level to continue the fun in complete safety.

Equipment advices
For ski, snowboard, freestyle, competition lessons…
Make sure you are well equipped to face the cold and the sun.
Bring complete ski gear: socks, gloves, glasses or mask, and sunscreen.
Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended
Materials are not included in the price and must be collected at the end of each lesson.
For freestyle and competition lessons, a back protector is recommended for optimal protection.
For snowshoe outings
Shoes: Opt for hiking shoes or snowboard boots, warm and waterproof. Gaiters are also recommended to prevent snow from getting in. Conversely, foam snow boots should be avoided due to their poor support and limited insulation against cold and humidity.
Poles: A pair of poles, slightly longer than those used for alpine skiing, is essential to improve stability, especially during steep ascents and descents.
Backpack: A backpack is essential, with a bottle of water and a snack to undress if necessary, hydrate and refuel regularly. Don't forget your camera to immortalize the landscapes!
